Selected candidates will be placed at the minimum basic pay of Rs. 50,000.00 in the pay scale of Rs. 50,000–3%–1,60,000 (IDA) during the period of training as Engineer Trainees in E-2 Grade.

These candidates will be absorbed after successful completion of training as assistant managers in E-3. grade in the pay scale of Rs. 60,000–3%–1,80,000 (IDA). During the training period, besides basic pay, candidates will also be paid a Dearness Allowance and will also be entitled to other privileges and allowances. under the cafeteria approach.
