Documents required :-

(A). Certificate of proof of age. (Admit Card, Certificate of H.S.L.C., or equivalent) examination).

Exam Syllabus :-

The written test will have 100 marks and will be completely OMR-based.  There will be 100 questions, and each question will be worth one mark. There will be  negative marking of ½ mark for each wrong answer. The questions will be set in three parts: (i) logical reasoning, aptitude, and English comprehension (ii) matters relating to the history and culture of Assam and India (iii) general knowledge. Candidates will use a black or dark blue ballpoint pen to answer the OMR-based answer sheet. 

Selection Procedure :-

All the candidates have to first apply for the vacancies in Assam Police Recruitment 2023, and then after that, the candidates will have to give the exam, in which, according to the syllabus, they will be tested in the exam. After that, the candidates will clear the written exam, and then after that, they will have to appear for the physical exam. Final results would be based on the marks obtained as follows

The question paper for the written exam will be in the following languages: English, Assamese, Bodo, and Bengali .

Candidates whose applications are found correct in all respects will be called nfor written tests. The date and venue(s) for the test will be announced in due course. The chairman reserves the right to change the venue of the test, to make no representation, etc. will be entertained in this regard.

Other Instructions :-

(i) The candidates who are employees of the government, PSUs, or autonomous bodies must obtain the necessary permission in writing from the competent authority or employer. and a copy of the same may be produced during the scrutiny of documents on the date of PST and PET.
(ii) On selection, candidates will be put through a prescribed course of training for (one) year, which includes regular physical training and class room sessions. (iii) Candidates selected for the post of Sub-Inspectors (UB) may be posted in any branch of the Assam Police.
